The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of providing below fire protection for a new tenant finish out. The system is a tree with a 3” main and telescoping branch piping. The building has existing shell fire protection via a dry system. The dry system was apparently installed in 09-1996 under permit FIR06-00515. The new tenant finish fire protection will start at the top of a wet system riser. A new 3” main will be installed to the tenant.


Building Department Scope:

Permit to construct a new 1,622 square foot B nail salon in an existing 19,285 square foot shell building approved for B’s and M’s. This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase and nonseparated uses. Scope of work includes: {installation of new non bearing interior partition walls creating two accessible to the disabled restrooms, a shampoo area, a tanning room, a break room, a mechanical room, and the main floor area}, installation of an accessible sales and service counter, installation of new plumbing, installation of new lighting, installation of new accessible doors / hardware, and interior finishes per Ch. 8 of the 2009 IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **TLW**
