The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of converting an existing high pile rack sprinkler system into an ordinary hazard group II mercantile sprinklers system. A new demising wall is being added to separate receiving area from the sales area. Sprinklers are being added to correct spacing issues created by the new wall. The owner’s certificate and an email from the designer indicates “There will be no storage of synthetic rubber or plastics over 5’-0”. There are no racks anywhere in the building, in the receiving the shoes are taking directly to the sales floor and placed onto the display shelves which are 4’-0” in height.” Sprinklers are also being added to a new office area. A new storage area is being added. The new wall locations cause sprinkler spacing issues. Therefore, sprinklers are being added around the new storage area walls. A new vestibule with a suspended ceiling is being added. A new pendent sprinkler will be dropped into the vestibule. There are several locations where sprinklers are being added or moved due to obstructions. The system is approved for a maximum of 109 Sqft spacing.

Building Department Scope:

(DESIGNER SHOE WAREHOUSE) Remodel of an existing 25,015 sq. ft. space for a new retail shoe store tenant in existing building per approved plans. Work to include select interior demolition of walls, ceiling grid, fixtures and finishes as indicated in plans. New work includes new interior partitions to create storage areas, office, lounge and accessible restrooms, sales / display areas, areas of perimeter walls furred-out; hard lid and suspended ceiling grid systems in specific minor locations; new fixtures; new vestibule; electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression and alarm system modifications and interior finishes.
