The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding and relocating sprinklers due to new wall and ceiling configuration.

Contractor’s Note: Scope of Work
The fire protection scope of work does not seem to correlate with the building department scope of work. This review is based on the scope of work indicated in the fire sprinkler application.

If the fire protection scope of work does not correlate with the building department scope of work, than a Certificate of Occupancy may be held and not granted until all work within the building department scope of work is verified. New drawings showing all the sprinklers within the building department scope of work are required to be submitted and reviewed.


Building Department Scope:

(ST. ALS - MOB #6)(STEREOTAXIS LAB - THIRD FLOOR) Remodel of an existing 3,100 sq. ft. portion of the third floor of an existing medical office building. Work to include select interior demolition of non-structrual partitions, finishes, millwork, etc. New work includes construction of new interior non-bearing walls to include the previous CT Scan Waiting & Reception area to become part of the relocated Control, Changing and access / egress path; interior walls to modify or create Lab, Work Area and Equipment rooms; new framed walls, fire-retardant treated wood or metal, around the Lab in accordance with requirements for adding additional RF lead shield for walls, glass, frames and doors as indicated on plans; structural modifications for installation of new medical equipment; protection and repair of existing fire-resistive assemblies; work on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, medical gas, fire suppression and alarm systems.
