This fire alarm permit is to extend the existing automatic smoke detection system in to a remodeled area. Notification is not required in this portion of the building due to the I3 classification and private signaling mode currently present in the building.

Work to include: Selective demolition work per plans; cut a new opening for a metal door and frame in an existing CMU wall and construct new steel stud interior wall partition between the video arraignment area and the holding enclosures per plans; install new holding enclosure wall partitions per plans; install new acoustical wall panels per plans; reinstall holding benches; install door locking devices per plans; electrical work; mechanical systems work; Fire sprinkler work; interior lighting upgrades per plans; and interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC.
