The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding protection to an existing wood framed restaurant. A new 6” underground main with 6” PIV will supply a 3” riser through a 3” backflow preventer. The system is a 3” side feed with telescoping branch piping. There is above and below protection through part of the space. The attic space is to be entirely filled with non-combustible insulation. There is NO outside canopy. Quick response sprinklers are being used throughout the space.

Building Department Scope:

(THE ORIGINAL PANCAKE HOUSE) Fire sprinklers used for fire area. To remodel an existing 3,155 square foot restaurant building for a new restaurant tenant. Work is to include 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, 2 grease hoods, 3 steam hoods, interior nonbearing walls, exterior walls, exterior windows, exterior doors, kitchen equipment, millwork, and finishes. Structural work includes a concrete footing, steel columns, expansion anchors, beams, roof joists, shear walls, and hold downs with epoxy anchors. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
