This fire alarm permit is to provide a required manual fire alarm system in a new modular classroom. This scope of work includes a new fire alarm panel, pull stations at every exit, smoke detection, and notification. The panel is to be monitored using a DSC wireless communicator rather than a DACT and utilizes a monitor module to ensure the panel goes in to trouble in the event the data signal (i.e. communications with the monitoring station) is lost. This eliminates the need for two phone lines.
Associated building permit: BLD11-01985 ***GREEN TAG*** (THE VILLAGE CHARTER SCHOOL - RELOCATE PORTABLE #1 CLASSROOM BUILDING) - Relocate a 1,420 square foot portable school classroom, that was last approved by the State of Idaho Tag #10478CC as a Type V-B Construction, "E" occupancy use group, to this new location. Scope of work includes set up and anchoring per engineering & plans; to construct a new wood ramp, platform, stairs, handrails and edge protection systems providing shared accessibility access compliance for two relocatable classrooms. See BLD11-01987 for 2nd relocatable. There are no plumbing facilities in this unit. An existing accessible route from this relocated unit to the existing Multi-Purpose Building will provide access to existing restrooms facilities for students and staff. There are no changes to the existing building envelope beyond maintenance of siding & finish. All work per the approved plans, Engineering, and all other reviewing agencies approvals. A new Certificate of Occupancy with the occupant load total is to be issued when completed and approved. **SRZ**
