This fire alarm permit is to extend an existing manual fire alarm system from portable #1 to a new modular classroom. This scope of work includes a pull stations at every exit, smoke detection, and notification.
Associated building permit: BLD11-01987 ***GREEN TAG*** (THE VILLAGE CHARTER SCHOOL - RELOCATE/CHANGE OCCUPANCY PORTABLE #2 BUILDING) - Relocate a 1,420 square foot portable school classroom, that was last approved by the State of Idaho Tag #10478CC as a Type V-B Construction, "E" occupancy use group, to this new location AND CHANGE THE OCCUPANCY to an A3 occupancy for use as a P.E. and Band room. Scope of work includes set up and anchoring per engineering & plans; to construct a new wood ramp, platform, stairs, handrails and edge protection systems providing shared accessibility access compliance for two relocatable classrooms; provide panic hardware; provide a second door with header per engineering; mechanical work and electrical work. See BLD11-01985 for 1st relocatable. There are no plumbing facilities in this unit. An existing accessible route from this relocated unit to the existing Multi-Purpose Building will provide access to existing restrooms facilities for students and staff. All work per the approved plans, Engineering, and all other reviewing agencies approvals. A new Certificate of Occupancy with the new occupant load total is to be issued when completed and approved.
