Spoke with Joe at Allied General regarding the scope of the project. The plans indicate that a "secondary alternate connection" is to be provided however there was no explaination as to what that "secondary alternate" is for. I asked Joe for clarification and he let me know that it is actually to provide the proper functions for the fireman's hat light. I requested revised documents that specify that it is for the fireman's hat light functions and also that the faxed documents are not legible and need to be revised so that the notes and alarm matrix can be easily read and scanned. He stated that he would need to get some clarification from the elevator installer and would get the information to me as soon as possible.
