This fire alarm permit is to provide a manual fire alarm system in an existing non-sprinklered building. This permit scope of work includes pull stations at every exit, full notification, and a smoke detector above the FACP. Required single/multiple station smoke alarms are existing and/or provided by others and are not part of this permit scope of work.

Associated building permit: BLD11-01104 (MOTHERS CHOICE DAYCARE) This is an existing Child Care facility established in Ada County. There will be no change in the existing floor area, occupant load or occupancy use group from previously established in Ada County. Scope of work includes select interior demolition of non-bearing partitions and cabinetry within existing 1,975 sq. ft. building; relocation of the kitchen area to the NW corner of the facility; a new interior partition with a counter / pas-thru between the kitchen and childcare activity area; new partitions and relocating of toilet and sink in one restroom for 20% accessibility upgrade compliance. Provide new electrical and plumbing for relocated oven, fan, counter outlets, sinks and restrooms. Note: Facility has had annual fire department inspections for life safety requirements established by fire code and City Clerks Office and annual day care licenses since 1994 when annexed. drs
