This fire alarm permit is to remove, add, and/or relocate initiating and notification devices to accommodate the tenant remodel. A new NAC panel is being provided to tie in the new notification devices. New initiating devices are to be tied in to the existing SLC on the main FACP. Door holders and the remote annunciator are also being relocated due to the remodel. Initiating devices affected are duct detectors, smoke detectors, pull stations, and addressable monitor modules. Under a previous fire alarm permit (FIR11-00309) the existing FACP, VOIC1, and NAC1 panels were temporarily placed outdoors, however are being relocated to a storage room under this permit.

Associated building permit: BLD11-00836 Bishop Kelly High School - Administration and Main Entry Remodel and Addition - To demolish and remove approximately 7,100 square feet of existing building that contains administrative offices and a storage garage area. To reconstructed that portion of the building to contain reconfigured administrative offices and accessible restrooms and to constructed a 5,375 square foot addition that will contain a new main entry, lobby/study area, waiting area, new student commons and new men’s and women’s accessible restrooms. This permit also includes the construction of a new exterior entry plaza and other associate site improvements. This addition and remodel is being done on the northwest side of the high school.
