Per the acting fire marshal, Gordon Goldsmith, the horns and the strobes need to meet NFPA 72 requirements for syncronization prior to a final sign off for the fire alarm permits.

A second fire alarm system test was conducted to evaluate audible synchronization between existing horns and new devices installed. It was determined by the Fire Marshal that the audible synchronization was not acceptable and would need to be corrected and comply with temporal pattern.

The strobes sync. but the horns do not. Per the contractor they did sync until the two additional devices were added today. The fire alarm contractor is going to investigate the cause and/or contact the fire marshal if this is a new device versus an old device issue. EOL was verified.
