The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of providing a NFPA 13R sprinkler system for a new (6) unit building. Each unit has (2) levels. The 2” underground is existing. Work will begin at the underground through a backflow preventer to floor level control valves. The system has 2” & 1½” mains on each floor with telescoping branch piping. The pendent residential sprinklers are based on 18’x18’ spacing. The piping will be CPVC except for the riser, which will be steel.

The underground on this project was installed on permit FIR07-00212.
It appears the underground passed a hydro test. There is no reported activity indicating the underground was ever flushed.

Building Department Scope:

(SANTARA PLACE - Bldg B) (10831, 10833, 10835, 10837, 10839, 10841 W. Franklin Rd) CERTIFIED RP IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO ISSUANCE. To construct a new 11,408 square feet (3,460 square foot 1st story / 5,178 square foot 2nd story / 2,230 square foot garages), 6 unit, two story, apartment building. Each unit is two story, three bedroom and two and one-half bath with an attached two car garage. There are two "A" units, each unit is 960 square feet on the second floor, 570 square feet on the first floor and 372 square feet for the garage. There are four "B" units, each unit is 949 square feet on the second floor, 570 square feet on the first floor and 372 square feet for the garage. NOTE: This building is required to be fire sprinklered with a NFPA 13-R fire sprinkler system minimum.
