The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of removing pendent sprinklers due to ceiling removal. Upright sprinklers are to remain. Slight modification of the upright sprinklers is required to protect all areas and prevent cold soldering.


Building Department Scope:

(BALIHOO – INTERIOR DEMO – Ste# 300) ****NO NEW CONSTRUCTION ALLOWED UNDER THIS PERMIT**** This permit is to perform demo work only. Scope of work includes removal of non-bearing interior partition walls, removal of interior finishes, removal of some existing outlets and wiring back to the box or properly terminated above ceiling line, and removal of some existing light fixtures. NOTE: The fire suppression system must be maintained after ceiling is removed (pull separate permit to move heads). ****NO NEW CONSTRUCTION ALLOWED UNDER THIS PERMIT****

Contractor’s Note: The building permit has not been issued at this time. The building department may determine that changes are required to the building plans in order to meet code. The changes may affect the sprinkler system. The sprinkler contractor will be obligated to make all necessary changes that may be required. Therefore, if the sprinkler contractor chooses to proceed without an issued building permit, they will do so on their own cognizance. This note does not constitute an early start agreement.
