The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of 6” underground to a 4” backflow preventer with wall PIV and 4” feed main. The system is a 4”x3”x2” grid. There is mezzanine along the north side of the building. The mezzanine is protected by a side feed system with a 4” main and telescoping branch piping. The building is approximately 28’ high. However, the fire protection system is designed for ordinary hazard group II that limits the height of storage to 12’ per NFPA.

Contractor’s Note: The building permit for the tenant finish out has not been issued at this time. The building department may determine that changes are required to the building plans in order to meet code. The changes may affect the sprinkler system. The sprinkler contractor will be obligated to make all necessary changes that may be required. Therefore, if the sprinkler contractor chooses to proceed without an issued building permit, they will do so on their own cognizance. This note does not constitute an early start agreement.


Building Department Scope:

Whole Foods Market (Cold Shell and Site Work Permit) - To construct a new 35,600 square foot, on story with 6,000 square foot mezzanine grocery store and related site improvements. The site work will include the entire site including the Walgreens. This building is constructed of masonry exterior walls and steel frame construction. This is a shell permit only and separate tenant improvement permit will be required to finish this building for occupancy. This building is fully fire sprinklered. The sprinklers are used for area increase. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. JCM
