Per meeting with PDS/Mechanical division inspectors, (Troy Jame & Alan Hauser); activation of the exhaust hood assembly for appliance operation may have two sources of initiation; automatic (viahood temperature sensing mechanism) or a manual activation switch. The exhaust hood assembly shall comply with the mechanical divisions standards for approval.
