Spoke with the inspector who was called to the job site by the fire alarm contractor regarding the location of the remote annunciator panel. After speaking with the inspector and Scott Arellano, it was determined that the remote annunciator is not required and may be deleted.

I spoke to Mark with Alarmco to let him know that the remote annunciator can be deleted as requested. He asked if they could just do as-built drawings instead of another plan modification. I told him as-built drawings would be fine provided there is not anything else that comes up during my review of the plan modifications submitted on 5/7.

My contact, dave, was sick so he had Mark Scharfen contact me about scheduling. Inspection to be canceled due to the remote annunciator not being installed. Mark asked about relocating it but I deferred him to Scott Arellano and the fire alarm plans examiner for approval.
