Communicate with Romeo and he said it was ok to leave the SR sprinklers in the offices on this project ONLY. I told Jim Danes the same.
Miscellaneous action  11/5/2012 DONE
Sent email to Jim Danes as follows:

Jim,

Unfortunately, there are still some problems at the above mentioned project. I just came from the job site. It appears there are still some standard response pendent sprinklers. They are no longer mixed but there is still standard response pendent sprinklers in new light hazard areas. I am not permitted waive code requirements. Please, change the standard response pendent sprinklers to quick response pendent sprinklers in all new areas.

903.3.2 Quick-response and residential sprinklers.
Where automatic sprinkler systems are required by this code, quick-response or residential automatic sprinklers shall be installed in the following areas in accordance with Section 903.3.1 and their listings:
1. Throughout all spaces within a smoke compartment containing patient sleeping units in Group I-2 in accordance with the International Building Code.
2. Dwelling units and sleeping units in Group R and I-1 occupancies.
3. Light-hazard occupancies as defined in NFPA 13.

Cordially,

Tim Frost, S.E.T.

Sprinkler piping above lay-in ceiling tle can be covered. Issues that need addressed prior to a final sign off are missing upright head at one location, overspaced upright heads at another location, standard responce (existing) pendants installed in rooms where per the plans the heads are to be changed to quick responce, standard and quick responce heads mixed in the same compartment and areas with no sprinkler protection due to soffits. Ceiling plans does not match either due to ceilings installed where none were shown and soffits/low ceilings that have either been deleted or relocated. Contact plan review for guidance on resubmittals/as-builts.
