When the new smoke detector was tested the strobes activated but the horns/voice evac did not. I verified candella and spacing for the new devices. To pass inspection the audible portion of the fire alarm system needs to function and the heat detector needs to be tested. I also noted three existing smoke detectors located too close to supply/return air grills. This item has been turned over to the fire dept. for follow-up.
