This fire alarm permit is to provide a non-required performance-based smoke detection system. Per the contractor, the owner has requested the submittals to be submitted for review. This permit scope of work is to provide non-required smoke detectors to protect equipment in a power sub-station. The panel will transmit alarm and trouble signals to Idaho Power’s SCADA system, not to a central station. This does not require a pull station or notification. There is no associated building permit.
NOTE: The panel shall be labeled in such a way that it is not considered to be a ‘Fire Alarm’ panel.
