Spoke to Mary at Taylor Brothers. I explained that the plans that were submitted do not reflect what will actually be installed per a conversation with Micheal from Taylor Brothers. I told her that I could approve these the way they were submitted, but then a plan modification (additional fees involved) would be required prior to calling for a final inspection. She said she thought plans were brought to me yesterday to replace the ones I have. I told her I'd wait until this afternoon to see if the plans are brought in before either denying the plans or approving w/ the plan modification option.

A question about the type of tamper switch and supervisory signal means came up. The contractor emailed me data sheets and I let him know that as long as the connection to the fire alarm panel and the supervisory signals meet the following, then we would accept it: 2010 NFPA 72 10.11.3 Self-Restoring Supervisory Signal Indication. Visible and audible indication of self-restoring supervisory signals and visible indication of their restoration to normal shall be automatically indicated within 90 seconds at the following locations:
(1) Fire alarm control unit for local fire alarm systems
(2) Building fire command center for in-building fire emergency
voice/alarm communications systems
(3) Supervising station location for systems installed in compliance with Chapter 26
