Verified 18ah batteries, points map has been provided- need to post as discussed, guard rail installed where horizontal projection exceeds IBC standard. 3rd floor damper tested- however opens on alarm, no access to test elevator tamper, plan modification to include DSC will be required prior to final.

Items noted include; install 18ah batteries per plan, post points map at the panel, repair damper 3rd floor, program input for sprinkler tamper at the elevator hoistway, submit plans reflecting omission of the dialer and zone card, the new FACP does not appear to meet IBC guidelines for horizontal projections at the means of egress (IBC 2012 1003.3.3). New smokes at the basement thru 3rd floors tested okay, verified signals, tested existing MP stations.

Meeting at HCD with Jim Birdsall, Jeff Street Tom Gainor, Gary Barnes and 2 people from Boise City Risk Management to discuss the possibility of an upgrade agreement to spread out the cost of required fire alarm system improvements. HCD wants to install the new panel and detectors now and spread the new notification device installation over the next few years for budgetary reasons. Primary purpose of the panel change is to make the elevator interface to operate properly. Currently, it does not. Tom Gainor will discuss the request with Romeo Gervais to see if he will allow it.
