Scott Williams called to indicate that Troy Cobbley had approved the system operation, subject to as built review but was looking for backup on defered notification upgrades. I informed him that Scott Arellano and I had discussed this and are allowing the notification upgrades to be be done at a later date for bugetary reasons. I called Troy to let him know this as well.

During the weekly meeting I discussed the owners request to change the building notification from 2 to 3 zones, as noted in the previous activity notes, with Scott and Troy. We determined that the request was reasonable. I called Scott Williams back and let him know that they could return to their previouse zone configuration and that the contractor would need to submit a plan modification with details of the changes that would be needed.

Received a call from Scott Williams - facilities manager, requesting system modifications that will allow 3 seperate zones of notification. He indicated that the system had previously been this way and that they would like to return to that operational function. He indicated that each zone is seperated by a 4 hour wall. 1 zone is admin, 1 is detention and 1 is court rooms. I let him know that I would review this with Scott & Troy and then let him know of our decision.

NFPA 7218.4.2.4, All visual devices must sync NFPA 7218.5.5.4.2, All audible alarm devices shall use "temporal tone" NFPA 7218.4.2.1, All areas/notification shall activate upon alarm IFC907.6, Provide fire alarm notification devices through out all required areas as per IFC 907 and installed per NFPA 72. If wanted provide upgrade agreement, as discussed, to Scott Arellano for review.
