I received a drawing from Dante Frassa showing the removal of a strobe in the MRI and notation indicating the reasons. I uploadeded it into Tidemark.

Dante Frassa called to request the removal of the strobe in the MRI room due to the fact that when the MRI is operating it will cause interference with the fire alarm system. He said that the only time that the room is occupied, there is a medical staff person observing from the control room that is covered with notification. I informed him that this would be acceptable. He will note the change on as built drawings.

Email to Dante. Drawing shows preaction equipment with abort switch but doesn't indicate the are being protectied. Need to know what the suppression medium is and if there is pre-alarm notification. Also, there is a kitchen hood that is not indicated on the legend. Need to know if this is existing or new. I let him know that if it is new, it will need a seperate permit.
