The submittal notes a combination fire / security system but does not clarify whether this "was" what the old system is or if the new system is. I emailed the applicant to verify whether this is or is not a combination system.

I received email confirmation from the applicant indicating that the old / existing system is combination and that the fire alarm portion is being removed from it and put on the new panel. The old panel will remain but only cover building security.
