Description |
The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of repiping the entire floor and adding a floor control valve. All sprinklers will be changed to quick response type.
(WASHINGTON FEDERAL - 1ST STORY) Fire sprinkler system is used for story and building area increase. To remodel the 4,478 square foot bank tenant space located on the 5,617 square foot 1st story of an existing four story with basement building. Work is to include two restrooms accessible to the disabled, drinking fountains accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, suspended acoustical ceilings, interior windows, interior doors, millwork, and finishes. New aluminum storefront will be installed at the edge of the second story to create an atmospheric separation between the first story and the second story. Exit signs and emergency lighting will be provided. Since there is or will be an A-3 Occupancy in the basement, doors located on the egress path from the basement are required to have panic hardware. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
