The existing 4" sprinkler supply standpipe that extends from the basement to the 7th floor will be converted to a combined Class I Manual Wet Standpipe/Sprinkler Supply. New 2 1/2" Class I hose valves will be connected to the 4" standpipe and will be installed at the intermediate level landings of the East Stair starting at the 1st floor and extending to the 7th floor. It was discussed and agreed that the existing manual dry standpipe at the West end and the new combined manual wet standpipe at the East end are not required to be interconnected and will operate independently via separate FDC connections.
