The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of adding, plugging and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration.

(BOISE MAIN PUBLIC LIBRARY - NORTHWEST CORNER OF 1ST STORY) Fire sprinklers used to substitute for 1-hr construction. To remodel an existing 4,003 square foot employee work area located within the Northwest corner of the 1st story in the Boise Main Public Library. Work is to include 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, suspended gypsum board ceilings, suspended acoustical ceilings, new exterior windows, new exterior brick, new interior doors and windows, millwork, and finishes. A new 18” x 18” opening will be cut in the existing exterior wall for an outside air duct. A new 24” x 18” opening will be cut in the existing exterior wall for an exhaust duct. Adequate headers are required to support the weight of the walls located above the openings. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
