Test and inspection of fire alarm system for Wing E, including elevator lobby and resident storage areas of the parking garage. Tested manual pulls, SDs, SFDs notification and in-room SDs, sprinkler waterflows, tampers, trip test of dry-pipe system, elevator recall functions, shunt trip, etc. for all of Wing E. Some devices near stair F1 had to be rewired to wing E, as they were located within the TCO area.
All fire alarm system devices tested OK for this wing. Since TCO of wing E is approved by this office, the fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems shall remain in service at all times.

Final inspection of Bldg. D and commons area for phase 1 TCO area. All HVAC units SD units tested OK. All other devices tested OK with previous inspections.
Only outstanding item for this phase, is to clean up FACP room so that the cover on the SD above the panel can be uncovered. Currently, this SD needs to be covered as the room ventilation system is not operable, and the exterior door is propped open to provide ventilation. This should be completed within the next day or so.
Other than that, the fire alarm system for Bldg's A, B, C and D, including the parking garage under all, is currently on line and fully operational.

Met with Brian Anderson (Simplex Grinnel) to discuss expectations for testing of phase 1 and TCO of this area while work on phase 2 is ongoing. I told Brian that it is our expectation that the phase 1 portion of the system be completely 100% pretested, with all coorections made, prior to calling us for our inspection/test. He said that he will communicate this to the GC.
