Telephone call  5/29/2015 DONE
Returned phone call to Cathy Miller of ECI regarding temporary occupancy requirements. Informed her that it may be considered if all fire, sprinkler and life safety issues need to be fully operational with the possible exception of new air shaft damper control. (not received or installed yet) Informed her that this needs to be complete within 30 days. She needs to get approval of this with the mechanical inspector as we don't have final say. She wanted to know if the mechanical control system could provide global shutdown of heat pumps. I informed her this could be done it the control system is UL listed for smoke control. Otherwise, each heat pump will require individual shutdown control by the fire alarm system. I also informed her that a formal request for temporary occupancies require a formal request by the building permit applicant.
