Steve emailed to state that they had pre approval to add the strobe knowing that it did not sync and if it had been required, they would not have proceeded. I responded to say that the letter they sent in the submittal refered to upgrade requirements if they added a non-required strobe to accommidate a hearing impaired person. I also informed them that existing system issues did not elliminate the requirement for them to install the new device properly.

Steve Panzell called to say Troy Cobbly was not allowing a non-required strobe to be installed within an office. I spoke with Troy. He informed me that Steve must be mistaken. The only notification issue at this site has been lack of syncronization. I emailed Steve to let him know that if strobes were currently installed in common and public places that a non-required strobe would be allowed in a hearing impared persons office but it also would have to sync with existing strobes within view.
