Description	[Albertsons Boise Hangar] The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of fully protecting the new Albertsons Boise Group II aircraft hangar, and office area per NFPA 13, NFPA 11, NFPA 20, NFPA 24, and NFPA 409. With two 80 psi 2000 gpm electric fire pumps one is back up, one wet pipe fire sprinkler systems, one 3% AFFF hand line system with two hose stations, and one 2% Jet-X High Expansion Foam system. The Alarm detection is by others. The underground Fire Service has been previously permitted and installed under permit FIR15-00909 (ALBERTSON’S HANGAR) Permit is to construct a new 19,990 square foot Group II aircraft hangar. This building is fully fire sprinklered to comply with Ch. 4 Special Requirements for Aircraft Hangers. This building is complying with Interior Lighting for the required additional energy code package. The foundation and site work for this structure was permitted under BLD15-03897. Approval contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file and attached engineering. Work to include: construction of new premanufactured metal building, installation of 2 hour UL rated exterior metal panels, new plumbing, new electrical, new mechanical, and interior finishes. This building will be fire sprinklered as required by section 412.4.6 in accordance with NFPA 409. TLW

The foam test report and concentration graphs were supplied by TREASURE VALLEY FIRE PROTECTION today through Troy.

Based on the test report results 288 gal of foam would be required for the 12 minutes. The tank is 300 gal therefore, the supply of foam would appear to be adequate.

The concentration results were adequate per the supplied report.

Todays inspection was just for the jet-X 2% Foam Test. The system was activated by the smoke detectors and from time of smoke detector activation to discharge of foam was 5 seconds. The entire floor area to the walls and to a minimum depth of 2'-6" was achieved with-in 60 seconds. TVFP will provide documentation for the concentration, water flow and quantity of foam used. Also they need to provide the fire pump certification documents prior to a final sign off.

After dicussing lack of slope in the FIre Pump Room with Scott Arellano I spoke to the project superintendant about the floor slope issue and that there would be no final sign off on the life safety until the floor had been sloped as per previous discussions.

Four pendant heads as marked on the drawings are ok for cover. I noted that the Fire Pump Room floor has not been sloped except for maybe a 1'-0" circle around the floor drain which is positioned next to the north wall. I spoke to the job superintendant again and deferred him to Scott Arellano.
