The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of a six level project per NFPA 13. Between level 1 and 2 there is has a two-hour horizontal separation. Level 1 is a parking garage based on OH 1. Levels 2-6 are based on light hazard. There are two wet manual Class I standpipes with outlets on the intermediate landings. The piping in the garage is in a conditioned space. The sprinklers in the garage are dry pendent type. There is a 500 Gpm @ 75 Psi fire pump located on the first level. The building is 62’-8” to the 6th level and is therefore is NOT classified as a high-rise. There is a fire code alternative on this project. (See building code review)

(INN at 500 – Shell and Core / Hotel Interior Finish) Permit to finish and occupy all areas of this 90,000 square foot hotel building except a 3,320 square foot new restaurant area that will be submitted under a separate permit. This building is fire sprinklered for “R” occupancy provisions / alternate approval provisions / fire area provisions / etc. This building utilizes enhanced lighting to comply with the 2012 IECC. Scope of work includes: installation of rated assemblies (corridors / type of construction separations / distance to property line separations / rated shafts), [interior non-bearing partitions creating 111 guest rooms, lobby area, restaurant area, trash room, mechanical storage room, bike storage room, two meeting rooms, office area, fitness center, and laundry / storage room], new electrical, new plumbing, new mechanical, new interior / exterior finishes, new accessible doors / hardware, and related site work. This building is fully fire sprinklered and alarmed. **TLW**
