The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of a new wet system to protect a school. There is new 6” underground to a 3” riser with backflow preventer. The system is designed as a dual center feed system with 2 ½” mains and 1 ¼” branch lines. The building has composite wood joists. The joists are to be filled with noncombustible insulation and firestoppped every 160^3 ft. CC2 special application sprinklers are being utilized in the combustible concealed space below the noncombustible insulation.

[BLD16-00810] - Permit is to construct a new 7,000 square foot middle / high school. This building is being sprinklered for non-rated corridors and future expansions. Approval contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work to include: removal of two existing portable classroom buildings, removal of two existing canopies on separate adjacent buildings, construction of poured concrete foundation, construction of new wood frame building, [installation of new nonbearing walls to create five classrooms, two storage rooms, separate sex accessible restrooms, two offices, a hallway, and a small break out classroom], new electrical, new mechanical, new plumbing, and interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2012 IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **TLW**
