Geoff Weeks requested the workflow be reopened for a plan modification. Some penthouse areas are being changed to non accessible areas and he wants to remove previously required drtection and notification. Eplanreview work flor was reopened to allow for a plan modification upload.

Geoffry Weeks called to discuss acceptance testing proceedures. Want to test a full floor per week with final tests as required bu the inspector. I informed him that we could work with this schedule but stressed the importance of pre-testing and being prepared for each test. I let him know that Jim Page would be his inspector for most, if not all of the tests. Also informed him that he needs to call the permit desk the day prior to his choice of days. I made him aware that we would not be able to schedule full days of testing and that if he needs to get a complete floor done each week that he may want to try to schedule Tuesdays or Wednesdays to allow time to make any corrections that may come up.

PDS office meeting with owners rep Dave Kadanko to discuss strobe placement. Siemens design for strobe placement in hearing impaired rooms did not take window curtains into account. Current placement would allow the curtains to be drawn over the strobes. It was agreed that the curtains are to be installed in a manner that prevents them from covering the strobes by installing stops in the curtain tracks. Inspector to verify during acceptance tests.

Failed pre-screen review. Missing 601 checklist and all 23 drawings were submitted as a single file of 15MB. Emailed Geoff detailing required changes. Corrections were made and resubmitted on the same day. I informed Geoff that I would not be able to start my review untill Oct. 10th. He indicated that they would not have any site work untill next spring and that this was not a problem.
