The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of two level an eight-unit apartment building protected per NFPA 13R. The top floor uses a loop layout and the bottom floor uses a tree layout. All piping except the riser is CPVC. The sprinklers are residential type.

The underground piping is under permit FIR16-00691

[BLD16-01848] – To construct a new 9,770 square foot, two story, wood framed, eight unit apartment building and related site improvements. First Floor: 5,070 sq. ft., Second Floor: 4700 sq. ft. This building has a 13R sprinkler system. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. CDM

Tenting inspection passed and piping can be covered. Also pendant sprinkler modifications due to soffits in the Kitchen have been completed. Piping can be covered.

Upon re-inspection we found that the soffits in the Kitchen area are causing obstruction issues with the pendant sprinklers. We discussed spacing solutions. Modifications should be done by Monday for a re-inspection.

Rough-in passed for the piping located above the ceilings. Tenting inspection passed as well for the second floor piping. Before cover the piping located in the exterior wall and above the ceiling in the riser room will need a tenting inspection.
