John emailed to say the owner claims that a building permit was provided for 25 N. Phillippi but research through tidemark and Onbase does not reflect that. I responded with a request for the building permit number.

A building permit has not been applied for, regarding the installation of the roll door in the existing fire wall. I discussed the requirements with Carl Westfall and he indicated this type of alteration would require a review and permit.

Called John Siewert to let him know that a building permit application and plan review would be required prior to issuance of the fire alarm pernmit. Once issued, the fire alarm permit can be released. He indicated the he will inform his prime contractor of the requirements. I followed up with an email to John that recaps our discussion.
