The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of connecting to the two previously installed dedicated 6" underground fire service feeds and install two new backflows to accommodate the five new wet systems to protect the new approximately 234,857 square foot FedEx distribution building. The five new systems shall utilize standard spray 8.0k upright and 5.6k pendant sprinklers supplied by new grid systems with 4" feed mains, 1½" branch lines and a 2½ secondary main, with all associated required valves to protect the new building according to NFPA 13 for light and ordinary hazards.

The warehouse space is supposed to have conveyors. There are no conveyors shown in the drawing. The conveyors will undoubtedly cause obstruction issued. Therefore, this warehouse space is NOT approved for occupancy at this time. A complete resubmittal with all of the conveyors shown in the drawings is required prior to occupancy.

This is an unlimited area building with 60-foot yards all the way around. New package distribution center. Conveyor equipment and racking permit to be submitted separately. Scope of permit- full build out of 234,857 distribution center. Work to include plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire sprinkler and fire alarm system. Interior nonbearing partition walls to create accessory office area, accessible restrooms and finish material. Core and shell constructed under BLD17-00563 and GRD17-0013. This building is fully fire sprinklered. **ajs**
