Ran emailed to say the engineer of record is not responding to review requests. I told him we have no authority and he may want to discuss it with the general contractor. Received calls from Jon Van Stone of E2co and Clarance of the GC. Told the GC that building permit drawings sho Van Stone as engineer of record. Emailed a copy of the stamped / signed drawing to Van Stone. Via phone call, he indicated that he thought that he didnt do the design but now realizes he had. Also indicated that he has had the fire alarm drawings on his desk for nearly a month. He is completing his review and responding back to Rand today.
