The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of adding, plugging and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration.

This building has a fire sprinkler system. To expand an existing 1,290 square foot tenant space into an adjacent 1,290 square foot space. After the expansion, this tenant space will have a total floor area of about 2,580 square feet. Portions of an interior nonbearing common wall located between the two spaces will be removed. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, a toilet room accessible to the disabled, two Type I grease hood and duct systems, a Type II dishwasher hood and duct system, suspended acoustical ceilings, gypsum board ceiling, kitchen equipment, and finishes. Early start permit BLD17-02961 was prepared to allow interior nonstructural work to be started but not covered. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
