The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of all sprinklers on the entire floor being changed to quick response type due to the derating of the corridors. In addition, adding, plugging and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration.

(Note: deferred submittals to allow the downgrade of the existing 1-hr rated corridor, the entire 7th floor fire sprinklers heads shall be upgraded to quick response heads (see attached letter) – do not final until a separate fire sprinkler permit to replace the sprinklers heads to quick response for the entire 7th floor have been reviewed and approved by the fire review dept.) Fire sprinklers used to meet high-rise provisions. Permit is to remodel an existing 26,770 sq. ft. business space within the 7th floor of the existing building. Approval is contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work to include: removal of select interior nonbearing walls, removal of select door/door frames, construction of interior non-bearing walls to create offices, a storage room, (2) wellness rooms, a IHT comm. room, and an accessible women’s restroom, select new door/door frames, millwork, select new gypsum ceiling, electrical work, plumbing work, mechanical work and interior finishes in compliance with Ch. 8 of the 2012 IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **JG**

This project includes approved code alternates to the following fire protection systems and/or building life safety systems. Please review the supplemental documents attached to this building permit case for details. Fire protection “shop drawings” shall include approved code alternate design.
