Manufactures specs for fire panel requires the panel to be in an environment conditioned between 32 degrees fahrenheit to 120 degrees fahrenheit, provide conditioning in fire panel enclosure as discussed, conditioning has been provided for communicator encloser, heat detectors can remain in current location.

Josiah called to say that there are no spare zones to add the panel heat detector and wanted to know if the heat could be tied to a pull station zone. I informed him that if the pull stations are on floor by floor zones that he could put the heat on the same zone as the pull for that floor. Pull stations are currently the only alarm initiating devices so this should not create confusion.

No testing performed. Provide data that provide assurance that the new communicator will be maintained with-in the listed temperature range of 32 degrees to 120 degress. Also provide a smoke detector (heat may be ok) for the protection of the equipment as per NFPA 72. Drawing need to reflect the changes.
