(Ross Dress For Less) - ***5-17-12 PLAN MODIFICATION TO INCLUDE: THE ADDITION OF MECHANICAL ROOF TOP UNITS AND MECHANICAL UPGRADES PER THE UPDATED ENGINEERING AND APPROVED PLANS. SRZ *** To remodel an existing 25,275 square foot Mercantile tenant space per the approved plans. The North West wall is shared with Big Lots. The South East wall is shared with Big 5 Sporting Goods. Work to include: Demolition work per plans; construct new interior walls to create new offices, locker room, equipment & janitorial closets, electrical room, processing room, accessible mens & womens fitting and restrooms, fire riser room, sales floor, and exit corridor; install a new dual height (hi-lo) accessible drinking fountain; install a service sink; related interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC; new store front glazing and door system at the entrance & vestibule per plans; install new footings, columns, beams, & cmu walls at front entry canopy per plans; install (3) new roof top units; construct new canopy at the receiving door location; new exterior/interior lighting and exterior site upgrades per plans; Mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work; and all other work per the approved plans, attached plan review report, engineering, and applicable adopted codes. NOTE: This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. A new Certificate of Occupancy with the new occupant load total is required to be obtained after all work has been inspected and approved and prior to tenant occupying this space. **SRZ**

Spoke with the architect Jeff Likes. Verbally discussed comments and corrections. He verified all fire wall compliance questions including horizontal projections and rated opening questions. All existing Firewalls concerning their continuity are in compliance. The existing glycol sprinkler protection in the front canopy will changed to a new dry system without conditioning of the canopy envelope.
