The first story includes animal care and reception areas with the second story consisting of office, animal care, employee locker room an A-3 training room and two sleeping units. The building will be fully fire sprinklered for allowable area increase and is also required due to the inclusion of sleeping units. The building is to be equipped with a voice alarm system to allow for a reduction in the exit width from the second story per section 1005 2012 IBC. Onsite conference to discuss oxygen generator & vacuum equipment room, oxygen storage room and nitrogen storage room requirements. The proposed oxygen generator has a storage capacity of 60 gallons which is below the threshold in IFC 105.6.8, the client is limited to the 60 gallon size generator and not larger models. Separate compressed backup oxygen. tanks will be stored in a rated, vented closet. The nitrogen tanks are in a separate room and below the threshold of IFC 105.6.8. A louver is provide in the room with the oxygen generator and its operation coincides with the generators (field verify). Continuous ventilation is provided for these spaces.
