Meeting with Kevin Griffin, P & J Auto Sales to review proposed tenant improvement. The prvious application for the entire project listed the occupancy use as a "S-1" / "B". The proposed use would be an "S-3" / "B" which would require full compliance of "S-3" occupancy under 97 code. Kevin also was considering the possibility of a full service garage to include welding, cutting and painting. This would move the occupancy group into an "H-4" and require upgrades to exterior walls; occupancy separation; fire sprinklers, etc. Kevin would consider his options and let me know. If the space could be used as is for the originally approved occupancy groups under which the vanilla finish was done, an miscellaneous permit could be issued under Resolution 13533 for the inspector to see the existing tenant space was as originally approved and give approval for the issuance of a certificate of coccupancy.
