Called Carl Dependahl to find out what the purpose of having the tenant contact me for an MIS permit. Carl stated he had become involved through fire inspector Brian McMahon asking him to check out the building as it appeared that work / expansion of the tenant space had been begun without approval & permits. I told Carl the building was constructed outside of the city in the early 80's and annexed in 1987. I would use Resolution 13534, for buildings annexed into the city that did not meet code when constructed (to be established) and allow a tenant to occupy for 90 days under a temporary occupancy certificate while plans are formulated for review based on and Idaho licensed architects site code analysis and plans prepared based on the alalysis for bringing the facility into compliance. As we do not have plans for the building or tenant space, this is a requirement of the inspection along with other findings.
