Calrl Westfall, fellow plans examiner came to review the need for an MIS permit for a tenant space to be used as an office and considered a mezzanine level and part of the second floor per agreement letter from the building official. Conditions were maximum occupant load of 8; office use only and access to two exits from the second floor at all times, especially the interior stair that requires access through an existing tenant space. The door hardware is to be such that the tenant cannot be denied access to the exit.

Called Carl Dependahl, structural inspector, to see if he had any problems with issuing the MIS permit for the third level tenant since the permit under which it was done as a 'vanilla finish', BLD02-01106 had not been approved for occupancy based on current records. Carl said to remind them they needed to get prvious permit finaled but go ahead and issue permit.
