NOTE: This permit does not authorize any type of construction. Previous tenant was American Flower Shop, Retail Sales & Storage. This proposed new tenant will have same use's with Auto Accessories retail sales on main level and storage per plans on file. A greenhouse structure that was erected without a permit is being removed by this tenant as a condition of this permit. Alex came in to see what the next step was to get a C.O. for licensing. I looked up inspection record and found the structural div. had not finaled. Alex said he did not have a sign off card for inspectors so I took him to permit desk and ask them to reprint him one. He requested structural inspection through Marsha.

Visited with Jenifer Gilliland to discuss who would perform the inspection. Bob Archibald, PDS Special Projects, had been involved with previous problems with this site and was ost familiar with the proposed use. Jenifer said it would be a good idea to have him handle the inspection & processing for a new C.O. for the new tenant owner.

Met with Jenifer Gilliland to discuss process to use for new owner of 2701 W. Idaho. A certificate of occupancy, #5111, is on file for the American Flower Shop, a retail sales and storage use. The original permit, BLD1045810, was for establishing a certificate of occupancy and enclosure af an existing carport for the new 432 sq. ft. storage room. New owner wants to use main floor for retail to dislay and sales auto accessories and same storage area. It was determined that if the use was the same as originally approved we would do an MIS permit to re-establish a new certificate of occupancy to determine if there are any imminent hazards needing to be addressed before the tenant could occupy. I notified the new owner of this decision.

Called Alex Stricharskiy, new owner tenant for this site, to let him know he could draw up a dimensioned floor plan and complete application for 'occupancy request for existing building' form and as long as the building and his proposed use was the same as the 1992 plans and C.O. on file we would issue an MIS permit for inspection to verify there are no imminent hazards per Resolution 13533. Alex agreed to comply and he would remove the greenhouse illegaly installed by previous tenant.
