Met with Craig of CSDI.....Russ Owen had left an extensive final correction notice list, and somehow finaled bldg Shell/core with Audroc Mortgage as the tenant for 75% of the Bldg. I went through all of Russ's corrections and all were Completed. Craig was concerned because no one had verified that they were completed. Phone conversation with Robert Feldman, contractor for the shell & core (BLD03-01851) concerning what is needed to obtain occupancy approval for Audroc Mortgage. Review of the open permit revealed the permit was for the entire building with no tenants declared. This permit needs to be completed and a L/C issued for the S&C. This MIS permit will cover the portion of the building desired for occupancy if no changes from the S&C approved plans has taken place. I faxed and MIS application to Robert for completion and sending back.

Call from Troy Cobbley, fire department inspector. The contractor wants a final for a tenant and the plans appear to show two tenant spaces but the scope of work and the permit do not address two tenants or occupancy. I reviewed the information concerning the S&C permit with Troy, explaining that an L/C was required for the S&C permit and then a separate permit and application would be required for the tenant space, probably and MIS permit. A question on the door hardware and locks between the two future tenant space spaces and their common use restrooms was discussed. The S&C plan and review noted the doors could not be locked and the contractors client wants the security by locking the door leading to his space. We reviewed installation of a new door or grill in line with the common wall between the two restrooms that could be pulled acress at closing time and locked until the next morning. This would remove the possibility of someone being locked in the restrooms and provide security and access to a restroom after normal work hours and each tenant space will have their required exits.
