This permit is to re-test the system smoke detectors in all "accessible" rooms to ensure they do not send alarm signals to offsite monitoring, to avoid causing a FD response on in-room smoke detectors. (These system-powered detectors were designed under FIR03-00612 to act as single-station smoke alarms, by only annunciating addressable horn/strobes within the respective room). Improper installation/programming resulted offsite alarms. Reprogramming is required to resolve the FD correction notice for unnecessary FD calls from these in-room smoke detectors/alarms.
