Site conference with Dan on fencing requirements to enclose the rear area adjacent to the "Carriage House". Dan will speak with the owners and also seek bids to enclose this area with 6' high black decorative fencing similar to fencing at rear of main structure. A response was requested by 8/21/09. I informed dan that if owners were unable to install fencing Boise City would proceed with the fencing and bill the owners the associated cost. Sarah S. informed me that a staff level decision would be initiated and followed by a 10 day appeal period in accordance with the Historic Commisions provisions for installation of the fence.

They are unable to abate the structure by either demolition or engineered stabalization citing the current economic situation, other variables and possibly filing Chapter 11. Discussions with administration on method of proceeding underway. Demoltion costs 5K-40K or engineered stabilization 20K.

Met with Dan (Davies Reed) and Dwaine (Trout Arcfhitects) contract being signed with Chris Larsen (Pacific Steel) ###-#### to repair the existing structure, Keith Jones is finalizing engineering. Dan will contact Historic once contract is signed and begin process of Historic Review. Dan will also obtain the building permit for owners and Pacific will begin work. Applications should be submitted this week.

Conference with Dwaine Carver (Trout Architects) ###-####. Owners have agreed to the engineered fix of structure ~$15000.00. Hold-up is with Idaho Power reguirements and contractor, electrical issues may more then double repair costs. A answer to total requirements and cost will be determined and reported by 4/13/09.
